The Bokkara Senior Citizen Savings Benefit (“Senior Citizen Savings,” “Benefit,” or “Offer”) is a promotional benefit provided and administered by Bokkara Management LLC (“Bokkara,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
The Benefit is subject to these Terms & Conditions, Bokkara’s applicable membership terms, booking conditions, availability, and any additional restrictions communicated at the time of booking.
1. Definition of a Senior Citizen
For purposes of this Benefit, a Senior Citizen means any individual who is 60 years of age or older.
A Senior Citizen qualifies for the Benefit only where the Senior Citizen:
- is a Member of Bokkara; or
- is traveling with a Bokkara Member, subject to any applicable same-booking requirements established by Bokkara.
Bokkara reserves the right to request reasonable documentation or information to verify age, identity, membership status, or eligibility.
If eligibility cannot be reasonably verified, Bokkara may deny, remove, or recalculate the Benefit.
2. Benefit Provided by Bokkara
The Senior Citizen Savings Benefit is provided, arranged, and administered exclusively by Bokkara Management LLC.
The applicable discount is a Bokkara promotional benefit and is not necessarily a discount offered, sponsored, funded, or guaranteed by the airline, hotel brand, hotel property, vendor, supplier, or other third-party service provider.
A third-party airline or hotel participating in a qualifying Bokkara booking should not be understood to be independently offering a Senior Citizen discount.
3. International Flight Eligibility
The Senior Citizen flight benefit applies to qualifying international flights only.
To qualify, the flight must be operated by an airline that:
- is based in the United States; or
- maintains an applicable operating base or hub in the United States, as determined by Bokkara.
International flights operated by airlines that do not meet Bokkara’s United States airline eligibility requirements are not eligible for the Benefit, even if the itinerary travels to or from the United States.
Bokkara reserves the right to determine which airlines qualify under this requirement and may add, remove, or change eligible airlines at its discretion.
4. Eligible Flight Fares
The Senior Citizen Savings Benefit is subject to fare availability and may apply only to specific fares, booking classes, cabins, routes, travel dates, or itineraries designated by Bokkara.
The Benefit is not guaranteed on every eligible airline flight.
Bokkara may exclude, without limitation:
- premium or specially priced fares;
- promotional fares;
- business or first-class fares;
- specific booking classes;
- group bookings;
- charter flights;
- certain routes or destinations;
- certain travel dates; or
- any other fare or itinerary that Bokkara designates as ineligible.
5. Eligible Hotels
The Senior Citizen Savings Benefit may also be available for bookings at selected hotel brands worldwide that are specifically chosen and designated by Bokkara.
The hotel benefit applies only to standard hotel rooms unless Bokkara expressly states otherwise.
For clarity, the Benefit does not automatically apply to:
- suites;
- villas;
- residences;
- apartments;
- penthouses;
- specialty accommodations;
- upgraded rooms;
- premium room categories;
- club-level rooms;
- executive rooms; or
- other non-standard accommodation categories.
Bokkara determines which hotel brands, properties, room categories, rates, destinations, and travel dates qualify.
A hotel brand being generally associated with the Bokkara Senior Citizen Savings program does not guarantee that every property operated under that brand will participate.
6. Selected Hotel Brands
Bokkara may maintain a list of hotel brands and properties eligible for the Senior Citizen Savings Benefit.
Bokkara reserves the right to add, remove, suspend, or modify participating hotel brands and properties at any time.
Availability of a particular hotel brand or property may also vary by destination, travel date, room inventory, rate type, and booking channel.
7. Amount of Savings
Where advertised as 15% Senior Citizen Savings, the discount is up to 15% of the qualifying amount determined by Bokkara.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the discount does not necessarily apply to taxes, government charges, hotel taxes, resort or destination fees, service charges, baggage fees, seat-selection fees, cancellation fees, change fees, or other additional charges.
The final savings amount displayed or confirmed by Bokkara at the time of booking will control.
8. No Combination With Other Discounted Offers
A Senior Citizen using this Benefit may not receive, combine, stack, or substitute the Benefit with another Bokkara-discounted offer, promotional rate, membership discount, promotional code, or other discounted offer, unless Bokkara expressly authorizes such combination.
Where multiple promotional benefits may appear to apply, Bokkara may determine which single promotional benefit will be applied.
Bokkara is not required to provide the customer with the combination of discounts that produces the greatest overall savings.
9. Availability
Senior Citizen Savings are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
The Benefit may be unavailable because of:
- limited inventory;
- airline or hotel participation;
- fare availability;
- room availability;
- booking class;
- travel dates;
- destination;
- seasonal restrictions;
- promotional restrictions;
- minimum or maximum stay requirements;
- booking-channel restrictions; or
- other conditions determined by Bokkara.
The availability of the Benefit on one booking does not guarantee its availability on another booking.
10. Taxes, Fees and Charges
The Senior Citizen Savings Benefit applies only to the qualifying portion of the booking price specified by Bokkara.
The customer remains responsible for all applicable taxes, government charges, airport fees, hotel taxes, resort or destination fees, baggage charges, seat-selection fees, change fees, cancellation fees, service fees, and other applicable charges.
11. Booking Changes and Rebooking
Changing, cancelling, rebooking, modifying, extending, shortening, or otherwise altering a qualifying reservation may result in the Benefit being:
- reduced;
- recalculated;
- removed;
- forfeited; or
- replaced by another applicable rate.
Eligibility for a rebooked reservation will be determined according to the rules and availability in effect when the new booking is made.
Bokkara does not guarantee that the original discount will be preserved following a change or rebooking.
12. Cancellation and Refunds
Any cancellation, refund, travel credit, or reimbursement is subject to the applicable terms of the booking, airline, hotel, vendor, supplier, and/or Bokkara.
A Senior Citizen Savings discount does not create an independent right to a refund.
Where a booking is refunded or cancelled, the amount of any refund or credit may be calculated using the applicable booking terms and may not necessarily equal the original amount paid.
13. Same-Booking Requirement
Where a Senior Citizen qualifies by traveling with a Bokkara Member rather than being a Bokkara Member themselves, Bokkara may require the Senior Citizen and Member to be included on the same qualifying booking or reservation.
Bokkara may determine whether separate reservations qualify for the Benefit.
14. Non-Transferable Benefit
The Senior Citizen Savings Benefit is personal to the eligible Senior Citizen and qualifying Bokkara Member.
The Benefit may not be:
- sold;
- transferred;
- assigned;
- exchanged for cash;
- resold;
- gifted to an ineligible person; or
- used for commercial resale purposes.
15. Age and Eligibility Verification
Bokkara may verify eligibility before, during, or after a booking.
If a customer is found to have incorrectly represented their age, membership status, travel relationship, or other eligibility information, Bokkara may, to the extent permitted by applicable law:
- remove the discount;
- recalculate the booking price;
- require payment of the applicable difference;
- deny future use of the Benefit;
- cancel a booking where permitted by the applicable booking terms; or
- take other appropriate action.
16. Fraud and Misuse
Bokkara reserves the right to investigate suspected fraud, abuse, manipulation, or misuse of the Senior Citizen Savings Benefit.
Any attempt to circumvent eligibility requirements, booking restrictions, fare restrictions, or other conditions may result in termination of eligibility for the Benefit and/or other action permitted under applicable law and Bokkara's applicable terms.
17. Third-Party Providers
Flights, hotels, and other travel services are supplied or operated by third parties.
Bokkara does not control the schedules, inventory, availability, operating policies, service levels, cancellations, delays, overbookings, closures, or other actions of airlines, hotels, vendors, suppliers, or other third-party providers.
Third-party services remain subject to the applicable provider's terms and conditions.
18. No Guarantee of Availability or Service
Bokkara does not guarantee:
- that a qualifying flight will be available;
- that a qualifying hotel room will be available;
- that a particular airline will participate;
- that a particular hotel brand or property will participate;
- that a specific travel date will qualify;
- that a particular fare or room rate will qualify;
- that the Benefit will always be 15%; or
- that any particular travel service will remain available after a search or quotation.
Prices and availability may change before a booking is completed.
19. Pricing and Technical Errors
Bokkara reserves the right to correct typographical errors, pricing errors, technical errors, system errors, promotional errors, or other inaccuracies associated with the Benefit.
If an error causes an incorrect discount, rate, or price to be displayed or applied, Bokkara may correct the error and take any action permitted by applicable law and the applicable booking terms.
20. Changes to Participating Airlines and Hotels
Bokkara may change the list of eligible airlines and selected hotel brands at any time.
An airline or hotel brand that previously qualified may subsequently become ineligible.
Likewise, a particular hotel property, standard room, rate, route, or fare may be removed from eligibility without notice.
21. Modification, Suspension or Termination
Bokkara reserves the right to modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the Senior Citizen Savings Benefit, in whole or in part, at any time, subject to applicable law.
This includes the right to change:
- the savings percentage;
- age requirements;
- eligible airlines;
- eligible flights;
- eligible routes;
- eligible hotel brands;
- eligible properties;
- eligible room categories;
- booking requirements;
- travel dates;
- restrictions; and
- other conditions of the Benefit.
22. Force Majeure and Circumstances Beyond Bokkara's Control
Bokkara will not be responsible for any failure, delay, interruption, or inability to provide or administer the Benefit resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including airline disruptions, hotel closures, government actions, natural disasters, severe weather, labor disputes, system outages, internet or telecommunications failures, cybersecurity incidents, or other extraordinary circumstances.
23. Limitation of Responsibility
Bokkara's responsibility in relation to the Senior Citizen Savings Benefit is limited to the administration and provision of the Benefit expressly described in these Terms & Conditions.
Bokkara is not responsible for the acts, omissions, performance, availability, schedules, policies, or services of third-party airlines, hotels, vendors, suppliers, or other service providers.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any right, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
24. Applicable Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions should be read together with Bokkara's applicable:
- Membership Terms & Conditions;
- Booking Terms & Conditions;
- Cancellation and Refund Policies;
- Privacy Policy; and
- any additional terms presented during the booking process.
Where additional terms are provided for a specific booking, those terms may apply to that booking to the extent permitted by applicable law.
25. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting, accepting, or using the Senior Citizen Savings Benefit, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and all other applicable Bokkara terms.
Bokkara Management LLC reserves all rights not expressly granted under these Terms & Conditions.
